Responsibilities:

The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, analyzing, developing, testing, implementing and maintaining complex applications to support the Car Sales business. This position focuses on operational, tactical, and strategic activities to evaluate and integrate requests for software and infrastructure changes and enhancements. The Senior Software Engineer  guides, mentors and leads the team on tasks and assignments.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred
• Ability to understand and interpret business requirements to design and develop technical specifications for large and complex applications
• Aptitude to understand business process and recommend efficient solutions that meet the needs of the business
• Ability to code complex algorithms and successfully perform comprehensive testing of software to ensure proper and efficient execution as well as compliant to the business and technical requirements

• Perform necessary production support tasks involving on-call responsibilities
• Proficient knowledge of object-oriented application development principles, concepts, object-oriented analysis, and design
• Proficient knowledge of Core Java, J2EE, and application servers such as WebLogic
• Proficient knowledge of products like Struts, ANT, Hibernate, Spring, Eclipse and XML Beans
• Experience with HTML, XML, Java Script, Dream Weaver
• Good knowledge of Oracle database environment
• Good knowledge of NT/Unix and Linux operating systems
• Recent experience in core application development and troubleshooting utilizing required tools
• Exposure to processing data in a batch environment is preferred
• Experience with the DB2 platform and with RPG and CL coding language is preferred but not required. Exposure to processing data in a batch environment is preferred

• Exposure to cloud computing, Tomcat and MySQL is preferred

                Senior Java Programmer

An exciting opportunity exists within The Bank to serve as a Senior Java Programmer in the Internet Channel Department.  The Department supports two major Treasury applications and a priced-service application, including new electronic collection methods that facilitate the ability of agencies to conduct transactions online. The successful candidate will build, enhance, and support complex N-tier mission critical custom financial web applications in a JEE environment.  The individual will also provide technical leadership, support and direction to the department and its members.

Essential Accountabilities:

·         Designing and developing object oriented, flexible, scalable and extensible Java components;

·         Performing analysis and design in the context of full life cycle systems development including UML, Use Cases, Sequence and Class Diagrams;

·         Defining technical requirements through interviews with business analysts;

·         Providing technical architectural direction when needed;
